Bikaji Ki Tekri is the historical cradle of the city of Bikaner, situated amidst the endless sands of northwestern Rajasthan in the magnificent country of India. It was here that the very first fort was established, serving as the foundation for the development of one of the region's most colorful settlements.
Although time has not spared the ancient walls and the site is now a collection of ruins, Bikaji Ki Tekri remains a significant cultural monument.
The site's primary highlight is its location. Serving as a natural observation point, it offers visitors breathtaking panoramic views of the golden dunes of the Thar Desert and the dense architecture of the old quarters. It is an ideal vantage point to sense the scale of history and the grandeur of the surrounding nature.
