Outside the rainy season, especially from October to April, rainfall is extremely insignificant, making these months very predictable in terms of weather for travel planning.

The climate in Udaipur is characterized by significant seasonal temperature fluctuations. The annual temperature range is quite wide: from cool winter nights to sweltering summer days. The hottest month is typically May, when the average air temperature is about 30.8°C, and daytime highs can reach 36.8°C. Conversely, the coldest month is considered January, with an average temperature of 15.7°C and minimum night-time temperatures dropping on average to 9.0°C.

The summer period in Udaipur, which lasts roughly from April to June, is distinguished by high temperatures. In April, the average temperature already reaches 28.5°C (maximum 35.4°C), and the peak heat arrives in May. Dry heat prevails during these months, as rainfall is minimal. From June to September, the monsoon season arrives, bringing some relief from the peak heat (average temperatures around 25-29°C), but also a significant amount of precipitation, especially in July and August, when the number of rainy days can reach 23-24 per month. The cooler and more pleasant season lasts from October to February.
