Most buses on these lines are equipped with air conditioning, making the trip pleasant even in the hot climate of the Gulf coast. Tickets can usually be purchased directly at the terminals before departure, as services run quite frequently.

The shortest and most convenient route is from Abadan: the distance of about 100 kilometres can be covered in just 1 hour and 20 minutes. Travellers often choose between a collective taxi and a private car hire ("dar bast") to reach Mahshahr with maximum comfort.
