La Perla (Distrito La Perla) is more than just a shopping center; it is an entire modern mixed-use district in vibrant Guadalajara, the cultural capital of Mexico. Located in the prestigious Zapopan district, it represents a new urban center where shopping, entertainment, and green leisure areas blend harmoniously. This complex was built on the site of a former Kodak factory, transforming an unused industrial zone into a lively public space.
At the heart of the complex is a massive 35,000-square-meter shopping center, offering visitors a wide selection of stores and boutiques. In addition to retail space, Distrito La Perla includes office buildings, a cozy central park, and a hotel, making it a magnet for both tourists and locals. The site was designed as an open space that encourages walking and cycling.
