Due to significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, you will need both light T-shirts and shorts for daytime strolls, and a warm sweater or light jacket for cool evenings, especially if your visit to Mexico is planned for the winter period.

To protect yourself from the intense sun, be sure to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses—UV radiation is stronger at high altitudes.
