History & Facts

The history of Casa Cesar began in 1979 and is inextricably linked with the Gonzalez Lawlor family. During a period of significant economic transformation in the country, the family decided to adapt to new conditions and turn their cozy home into a welcoming hotel. The name was not chosen by chance — the hotel is named after the head of the family, Dr. César González Lawlor.

The transformation of the living space into a hotel was made possible thanks to family solidarity. The neighboring house, belonging to Aunt Antonieta, became the new home for the family, allowing 17 rooms to be allocated for the first guests. Since then, the atmosphere of home warmth and sincere Peruvian hospitality has been carefully preserved here.

Over decades of operation, the hotel has established itself as one of the most reliable places to stay in the region. It has grown from a small family business into a recognized leader among the city's small hotels, while maintaining its classic style and impeccable reputation for cleanliness and service.

Time Needed

The time you spend at Casa Cesar largely depends on your plans. If you are considering the hotel only as a place for a short break between excursions, 1–2 hours will be enough to freshen up and appreciate the local comfort in the cozy dining room.

However, to fully experience the hospitality of this place, it is recommended to stay here for at least one night. This will allow you to enjoy a full American breakfast, the quiet of the rooms after a busy day, and easy access to evening entertainment in the city center.

Working Hours

For the convenience of guests, the Casa Cesar hotel reception is open 24 hours a day. This means you can count on a warm welcome and assistance from the staff at any time of the day or night, regardless of your flight or bus arrival time.

While the hotel is open 24/7, we recommend checking availability and check-in details in advance on the official website or by phone, especially during the high tourist season.
