On Oktyabrsky Prospekt in the city of Kirov stands one of the region's most significant memorials — the "Kirovchanie – Frontu" Monument (Kirov Residents to the Front). This monumental work of art, located in Russia, is dedicated to the unparalleled labor heroism of local residents during the Great Patriotic War. The central element of the composition is the legendary T-34 tank, mounted on a high concrete pedestal designed to resemble a steep incline or hill.

Talented sculptor Anatoly Veselov and architect Yuri Karmazin worked to create this majestic site. The monument holds the status of a regional cultural heritage site and symbolizes the unbreakable bond between the home front and the front line. The tank is positioned right by the square of the "May 1st" Plant, which housed a major tank production facility during the war years.
The artistic reliefs on the sides of the pedestal are particularly striking. One side depicts the home-front workers — an elderly man, a woman, and a teenager — who worked to the limit of their strength for a common cause. The other side portrays Soviet soldiers. This monument is not just military equipment on a pedestal, but a profound tribute to those who forged victory in the factory workshops.
