In the very heart of the city of Vyborg lies a surprising corner of creativity — the Sculpture Garden. This cozy open-air square features a unique collection of contemporary artworks carved from noble granite. As part of the cultural landscape that Russia offers, this park has become a symbol of harmony between natural material and human imagination.

The square was established in 1988 following a sculpture symposium where masters worked with local grey rapakivi granite. Out of the 11 works created back then, nine still adorn the park space today. Each sculpture is a generalized image where one can guess themes of labor, rest, or literary plots, making a walk here feel like solving an artistic puzzle.
Previously, this site was a historical quarter with wooden buildings, but today it is a favorite spot for quiet walks. The park attracts visitors with its accessibility and the opportunity to see art outside museum walls, right at the intersection of the city's busy streets.
