The Gordon Highlanders Museum invites you to dive into Scotland's heroic past—a unique site in the city of Aberdeen that has been awarded a 5-star rating by Visit Scotland. This museum is dedicated to the 200-year history of one of the country's most famous regiments, recruited from the local population of north-east Great Britain: from simple fishermen and farmers to ambitious students.

The exhibition is set in a wonderfully atmospheric location—the former home and studio of the prominent Scottish painter Sir George Reid. The 19th-century interiors harmoniously complement the military relics, creating a sense of connection to the personal stories of ordinary people who showed exceptional courage during global conflicts.
The museum houses a collection of national importance, including rare weapons, vintage uniforms from various eras, and over 4,000 medals. A particular point of pride for the museum is the 12 Victoria Crosses—the highest military decorations of the empire, each masking a gripping story of valor and self-sacrifice.
