Tucked away in the heart of the picturesque Jesmond Dene park is the charming Pets' Corner — a small, free zoo that has become a true oasis for family vacations in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It’s a place where the hustle and bustle of industrial United Kingdom gives way to the cozy atmosphere of a country farm.

Visitors can expect friendly residents: from fluffy alpacas and funny micro pigs to goats, sheep, and long-eared rabbits. Pets' Corner is more than just animal enclosures; it’s an interactive space where children can get closer to nature, observe the habits of rare birds, and even pet some of the animals.
In addition to interacting with our animal friends, the facility's infrastructure includes a modern visitor center, a children's play area, and the cozy Millfield House cafe. Although admission remains free, the zoo survives thanks to the care of volunteers and donations from guests, creating a truly warm and soulful atmosphere.
