The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, located in Chantilly, USA, is not just a museum, but a true portal to the history of conquering the sky and space. Opened in 2003, it is a branch of the Smithsonian Institution's famous National Air and Space Museum. Its main mission is to preserve and display large-scale aircraft that could not fit in the main exhibition in Washington, D.C.
The center's collection is housed in two giant structures: the Boeing Aviation Hangar and the James S. McDonnell Space Hangar. It is here, in this vast space, that you can fully experience the scale and power of legendary machines. Aircraft, helicopters, and spacecraft suspended from the ceiling and positioned on the floor create a truly impressive sight.

Among the hundreds of exhibits, several icons of aviation and astronautics stand out. Visitors can take a close look at the Space Shuttle Discovery, which completed 39 space missions, the supersonic Concorde passenger liner, and the legendary Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft, one of the fastest planes in history. These and many other exhibits make the center a must-visit for anyone fascinated by technology, history, and the dream of flight.
