The W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory is a magnificent Victorian pavilion that serves as a true oasis of eternal summer in the city of Tacoma, USA. Located in the historic Wright Park, it catches the eye with its graceful twelve-sided dome, comprised of more than 3,500 glass panels that fill the space with soft, natural light.
Inside this architectural gem lies a rich collection of 550 plant species from around the world. Visitors can see exotic palms, rare orchids, unusual cacti, and vibrant azaleas. The conservatory is not only home to a permanent tropical display but also regularly updates seasonal exhibitions, showcasing hundreds of blooming plants depending on the time of year.
Unique sculptures harmoniously integrated into the jungle greenery add a special charm to the interior. The site is recognized as a cultural heritage object and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, remaining one of the few surviving glass structures of its type on the West Coast.
