La Aripuca is a unique cultural and ecological complex in Puerto Iguazú that introduces visitors to the nature and traditions of Argentina. This theme park was created to highlight the importance of forest conservation and the heritage of the indigenous Guarani people. The main goal of the project is not just to entertain, but to tell the story of the fragile balance between man and nature.
The central element of the park is a monumental structure symbolizing an "aripuca"—a traditional animal trap used by the Guarani. Standing over 17 meters tall and weighing hundreds of tons, this structure was assembled from massive trunks of rescued trees of more than 30 different species, emphasizing the richness and diversity of the local flora. The idea is to symbolically "trap" the consciousness of visitors, encouraging them to think about environmental protection.

Beyond its impressive architecture, La Aripuca serves as an open-air museum and educational platform. Here, you can learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the Misiones region and get acquainted with Guarani culture and crafts. There are shops for visitors selling handmade goods and local products like jams and sweets. It is an excellent spot for a family outing, offering not only knowledge but also the chance to try unusual yerba mate ice cream.
