The crown jewel and centerpiece of the park is the grand sculpture of the mythical bird Jatayu from the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. This is the largest bird sculpture in the world, created by the talented artist and sculptor Rajiv Anchal. Legend has it that the wounded Jatayu fell here after his battle with the demon Ravana while trying to save Sita. The monument symbolizes the protection of women, their honor, and their safety.
Inside the giant sculpture is a museum and a 6D theater where guests can immerse themselves in the story of this mythological character. However, Kollam Adventure Park is not just a cultural site. It lives up to its name by offering a variety of activities: from a cable car and rock climbing to paintball and ziplining. This makes it an ideal destination for family vacations and thrill-seekers looking for adventure amidst stunning scenery.
