Spring and autumn offer a mild transition with comfortable temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C, which are ideal for long walks and exploring the region's nature.

Travelers should note that rainfall in Amami is a frequent and regular occurrence. The number of rainy days remains high throughout the year, varying from 12 to 20 days per month. The wettest period is June, when rainfall levels increase noticeably, as well as September. Nevertheless, it is thanks to this abundant moisture that the island is famous for its dense, evergreen vegetation and incredibly picturesque landscapes.

A unique feature of the temperature regime in Amami is its remarkable stability throughout the day.
