Summer, on the other hand, brings long-awaited warmth: from June to August, the air warms up to a comfortable +20...+24°C during the day, creating excellent conditions for tourism.

An interesting feature of the local climate is the distribution of precipitation. The winter and spring months here are very dry, and clear skies are a frequent phenomenon. The main rainy period falls in the middle of summer, especially in July, when the highest number of wet days is recorded. Nevertheless, even during this season, rains are usually not prolonged, allowing you to enjoy your trip.

When packing for Ulaangom, it is important to remember the sharply continental climate of this region, where the weather can be unpredictable. Winters here are long and severe, with temperatures dropping below -20°C, so for a trip from November to March, be sure to take high-quality thermal underwear, a windproof down jacket with a hood, and insulated trousers. You cannot do without a warm hat, scarf, and mittens, as well as winter footwear with thick soles to feel comfortable while walking in the frost.

In summer, the weather becomes comfortable and warm, however, evenings can bring coolness, so the principle of layering remains relevant.
