Spanning an impressive territory of about 6.5 hectares, the park is divided into several functional zones. There’s room for everything from extreme slides to relaxing in swimming pools, making it a universal attraction for tourists of all ages—from little ones to adrenaline seekers.
The core concept of Big Splash Waterpark is creating a safe and friendly environment for family leisure. Thanks to its cleanliness, high-quality service, and variety of water stations, this place has quickly become popular not only with locals but also with travelers seeking a cool escape on hot Nepalese days.

Everyone will find something to enjoy at this water park. Thrill-seekers should head to the water slides: there are four steep descents for adults, including the popular twist and turn slide, which promises breathtaking loops. The main pool is perfect for those who just want to swim and soak up the sun.
For the youngest guests, there is a dedicated zone with a safe depth and plenty of interactive elements. Children especially love the bucket splash—a giant bucket that slowly fills with water and tips over onto joyful visitors at the most unexpected moment. There are also dry play areas on-site where you can take a break from the water.
When planning your trip, keep in mind that it can get quite crowded on weekends. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, it's better to visit on a weekday. Attentive staff always monitor safety on the slides, allowing parents to relax a bit while the kids play in the fountains.
Getting There
Getting to the water attractions is quite simple. Big Splash Waterpark is located in the Kundahar area. If you are staying in the popular tourist district of Lakeside, a trip by taxi or rented motorbike will take about 20–30 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 10–15 kilometers along the Kundahar - Bijaypur Rd.
For those arriving in the city via Pokhara Airport or the central bus station, the car ride takes about half an hour. The road to the park is fully paved and doesn't have difficult terrain, making it comfortable for any type of transport, including local rickshaws.
Travelers are advised to use official taxis or ride-hailing apps to know the fare in advance. The Bijaypur area, which is well-known to locals, can serve as a landmark for the driver.

History & Facts
The history of this place began relatively recently—Big Splash Waterpark officially opened its doors on April 14, 2018. The date was chosen specifically to coincide with the Nepalese New Year celebrations, serving as a long-awaited gift for city residents and tourists alike.
Creating the first water park in Pokhara was a large-scale project for the region. Managing Director Amit Raj Mulmi invested approximately 110 million Nepalese rupees into realizing the idea. The park spans 13 ropanis, transforming an empty plot in Kundahar into a modern family leisure center.
Since its founding, the project has been highly praised by the Nepal Tourism Board and the Hotel Association. The park was designed not only as a recreation spot for locals but also as a significant attraction for guests from the southern regions of the country and northern India who wish to trade the heat for refreshing water splashes.
Time Needed
To fully enjoy all the slides and relax by the pool, experts suggest setting aside at least 3–4 hours for your visit. This is enough time to test out the main attractions without rushing and grab a bite to eat.
However, for families with children or large groups, the best solution would be to spend a full day here. Given the relaxed atmosphere and the availability of lounge areas, many guests prefer to arrive at opening time and stay until evening to make the most of the park's facilities.
Working Hours
The water park doors are open to visitors every day. You can plan your visit from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.
It is recommended to check the official website or call the contact number before your trip, as operating hours may vary slightly depending on the season or weather conditions.
