The Sky Tower is not just a telecommunications tower, but a true symbol and landmark of Auckland. Located in the heart of New Zealand's business center, it soars to a height of 328 meters. This makes it not only the tallest structure in the country but in the entire Southern Hemisphere. The tower is part of the major SKYCITY entertainment complex and is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.

Constructed from high-strength reinforced concrete and glass, the structure was designed to withstand the region's challenging weather conditions. The tower can endure wind gusts of up to 200 km/h and earthquakes up to magnitude 8, making it a masterpiece of engineering. Interestingly, the Sky Tower served as the architectural prototype for the famous tower in Macau, which surpassed the original in height by only 10 meters.
Beyond its primary telecommunications function, the Sky Tower is a highly popular tourist destination. Three observation decks are available for visitors, offering 360-degree panoramic views. Glass elevators whisk you to the top in just 40 seconds, revealing breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings for up to 82 kilometers. The upper levels also house restaurants, including a revolving one, and cafes where you can enjoy both a meal and the stunning scenery. For the most adventurous, extreme activities are available, such as walking along an open platform at 192 meters (SkyWalk) or jumping from the tower (SkyJump).
