The cathedral's architecture is a striking example of European Gothic. Its appearance is defined by high vaults characteristic of this style, soaring pointed arches, and monumental towers. Originally, the cathedral was a single-nave structure, but over time, an impressive three-nave body was added to its western part, giving it even greater majesty.
An interesting feature of the cathedral's internal layout during the Order's era was the division of space: services for knights were held in the single-nave section known as the High Choir, while the three-nave section, or Low Choir, was intended for ordinary parishioners. Nowadays, the cathedral is famous for its academic concert hall, which houses the largest organ in the country, whose sounds fill the ancient walls with a special atmosphere.
