Yuri Gagarin Park is one of the most popular and beloved culture and leisure parks in Samara. Located in the geographical center of the city, it is an important green zone and a true oasis amidst urban development. The park attracts both residents and visitors with its cozy atmosphere, picturesque alleys, and a variety of entertainment for all ages.
Officially opened on July 9, 1976, the park was named after the planet's first cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin. Originally, this territory was on the outskirts, but as the city grew, it found itself in the very heart. Today, the park covers an area of about 34 hectares and serves as a wonderful place for walks, meeting friends, and family leisure.

Oaks, maples, and spruces grow throughout the park, creating dense shaded areas. One of the main attractions is an artificial canal with a small island where you can go boating or ride catamarans. Additionally, many squirrels live here and are happy to accept treats from visitors. For active leisure enthusiasts, sports grounds are available, and there are numerous attractions for children.
