In the heart of the historical center of Samara stands one of the city's most fairytale-like buildings — the Children's Art Gallery. Opened in early 1991, this museum became the first space in the country entirely dedicated to the child as both artist and viewer. Russia can be proud of this unique cultural project that blends professional art with childhood sincerity.

The gallery is housed in the magnificent Merchant Ivan Klodt mansion, an architectural monument in the German Renaissance style. With its pointed towers and elegant red-brick decor, the building resembles a real medieval castle, miraculously preserved amidst the urban development. It is not just a set of exhibition halls, but an entire complex that includes a museum of domestic culture and a garden museum.
Today, the gallery's collections include thousands of works by young talents, as well as collections of ceramics, graphics, and original dolls. The museum's primary mission is to show the world through the eyes of a child and preserve the historical heritage of old Samara through the prism of children's creativity.
