An immersion into a world of ancient legends, stoic warriors, and magical nature begins in the heart of Kazan, home to the unique Konstantin Vasilyev Museum. This is not just an art gallery, but a "place of power" dedicated to the work of one of the most distinctive Russian artists of the 20th century. The museum occupies a place of honor in the restored Petzold House — an architectural monument from the late 19th century, which lends the exhibition a special historical depth.

Within the walls of this cultural center in Russia is an unprecedented collection of the master's work — over 160 pieces, constituting about 90% of Vasilyev's entire legacy. Five spacious halls with a total area of 800 square meters bring together the Kazan and Moscow collections. Here, you will see the originals of legendary canvases such as "Alexander Nevsky", "The Old Man with an Eagle Owl", and "Expectation", which became true symbols of the revival of interest in Slavic mythology and heroic epics.
Special attention is given to the memorial zone, where the atmosphere of the artist's studio has been recreated. Visitors can see Konstantin Alexeyevich's personal belongings, his archives, and even the easel holding his last, unfinished portrait of his sister. The museum's modern facilities, including reinforced windows and specialized storage systems, ensure the preservation of these masterpieces, making the museum an important research and educational center for the region.
