Did you know that Russia is home to a one-of-a-kind scientific and technical complex entirely dedicated to the history of world tractor building? Located in the city of Cheboksary, the unique Museum of Tractor History has been surprising visitors with the scale of its collection since 2011. This is not just a machinery exhibition, but a true educational center where the history of engineering comes to life.

The museum's exhibition spans an impressive area of over 2,500 square meters and is divided into several thematic zones: from the very first tools for tilling the land, such as the ancient wooden plough (sokha), to futuristic concepts of the future. More than 50 rare units of machinery are presented here, including wheeled, tracked, and industrial tractors, many of which have been painstakingly restored to working condition.
A particular point of pride for the museum is its collection of 600 miniature models and thousands of rare items related to the development of agricultural and industrial technology. Visitors can trace the evolution of mechanisms, get inspired by American McCormick tractors from the 1930s, and see legendary domestic machines that worked the fields and construction sites for decades.
