The main feature of the complex is its unique location on hilly terrain. Unlike many standard venues, the track here is full of elevation changes, and the upper sections of the track offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The center is under British management and is famous for its attention to detail and high level of service, accumulated over decades of work in the racing industry.

The facility boasts a wide fleet of karts — from safe children's models to powerful sports karts for experienced drivers. The 8-meter track width and perfectly smooth surface provide excellent conditions for maneuvering and overtaking, making every competition truly exciting and safe at the same time.

What to Do

At Lanzarote Karting, everyone will find something to enjoy, regardless of driving experience. The main attraction here is, of course, racing. The track is designed to test your skills: you can expect sharp hairpins, high-speed straights, and winding sections that require concentration. All karts are equipped with a professional Tag Heuer timing system, so you can instantly see your race results and compare them with those of your friends or family members.

For those who love a challenge, there is a special Lap Record Challenge. If you manage to break the current track record on the day of your visit, you will receive a generous discount on your next race. This is great motivation for those who want to feel like a professional racer and hone their technique in every turn.

The center is also an excellent venue for group events. It often hosts corporate team-building events, family celebrations, and parties. If you are a beginner and feel a bit nervous before your first start, the experienced staff is always ready to help and can even remotely limit the kart's speed until you feel confident behind the wheel.

Getting There

Getting to the karting track located at LZ-20, San Bartolomé is quite simple. One of the most convenient ways for tourists is the free shuttle service that the center organizes from popular resort areas such as Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise. Buses depart at fixed times (from 12:00 to 15:00) on the days when the complex is open to the public.

If you prefer to travel independently, you can use a taxi from the city center or rent a car. The drive from Arrecife takes very little time, and there is a spacious and convenient parking lot for visitors on-site.

History & Facts

The history of Lanzarote Karting is closely linked to British motorsport traditions. The center's parent company has over 25 years of experience in the karting industry in the UK. Seven years ago, this professional approach was brought to the Canary Islands, creating a world-class facility in the heart of Spain.

Designing the track was a real challenge due to the hilly terrain of San Bartolomé. However, it was this very relief that allowed for a unique track configuration with elevation changes, making it stand out among the majority of flat karting tracks in Europe. This makes the races more technical and interesting for both professionals and amateurs.

Interestingly, this track is considered one of the longest in the country. When combining two configurations in race mode, the track length reaches 1,560 meters. This makes it the second longest karting track in all of Spain, trailing the leader by only a few dozen meters.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy the speed and atmosphere of Lanzarote Karting, it is recommended to set aside about 3–4 hours for your visit. Although a single standard race lasts 8 minutes, most guests prefer to take several sessions to improve their lap times and get used to the track's features.

This time should also include the mandatory safety briefing, equipment selection, and a well-deserved break in the waiting area between races. This "half-day experience" format will allow you to take your time and get the most enjoyment out of the professional equipment and magnificent views.

Working Hours

When planning your visit to Lanzarote Karting, please note the operating schedule, as the center has fixed closing days. The complex is open to visitors from 12:00 to 18:00 on Mondays, as well as from Thursday to Sunday inclusive.

It is important to remember that the karting track is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is recommended to arrive early to have time for the briefing and several races before closing, especially on weekends when the number of people wanting to try the track increases.
