Right in the heart of Puerto del Rosario, on the sunny island of Fuerteventura, lies the Miguel de Unamuno House-Museum. This building, a former 19th-century hotel, is built in the characteristic style of colonial Canarian architecture. Today, it serves as an important memorial dedicated to the stay of the great Spanish thinker, poet, and philosopher.

A journey to this corner of Spain allows travelers to touch the history of the 1920s. The museum recreates the authentic atmosphere of that time: original furniture remains inside, including the desk and bed used by Unamuno during his exile on the island. The centerpiece of the house is a cozy inner courtyard, typical of local architecture from the turn of the century.
The exhibition includes not only the writer's personal belongings but also numerous manuscripts, photographs, and texts reflecting his deep connection with the island. The House-Museum is not just a historical monument but a living testimony to an intellectual legacy, open to all visitors free of charge.
