The National Museum of Natural Science in the city of Taichung, located on the island of Taiwan, is one of the country's most significant and visited cultural centers. Every year, it attracts over three million visitors, making it the second most popular museum after the capital's institutions. It is not just an exhibition space but a major scientific and educational complex that offers guests a fascinating dive into the world of science.
The museum's main collection is dedicated to various fields of natural history: zoology, botany, geology, and anthropology. It houses a rich collection of thousands of exhibits that tell the story of the diversity of flora and fauna, as well as the geological features of the region. Visitors can explore over 30 permanent exhibition zones where everything from the mysteries of space and the world of dinosaurs to the secrets of Chinese medicine and ancient technologies can be studied.

The museum complex consists of several pavilions, including the Science Center, the Life Science Hall, the Botanical Garden, and the IMAX Space Theater. One of the unique parts of the museum is its branch—the "921 Earthquake Museum," which was created in memory of the devastating earthquake on September 21, 1999. This memorial is dedicated to the tragic events and serves as an important reminder of the forces of nature and the resilience of the human spirit.
