The Tropical Butterfly Garden in Konya is a wonderful corner of wildlife and one of the most unusual attractions in Turkey. As a huge greenhouse, it is the country's first and one of Europe's largest butterfly gardens. The building, designed in the shape of a butterfly, is eye-catching on its own, and inside, visitors will find a true riot of color and tropical exotica.

The garden's main inhabitants are thousands of butterflies of dozens of different species that flutter freely among the lush vegetation. Ideal conditions have been created for them here, as close as possible to their natural habitat: the air temperature is constantly maintained at +28 °C, and the humidity is around 80%. This allows guests to enjoy a tropical summer and observe the lives of these graceful creatures at any time of year.
The garden's territory is impressive in scale, covering about 38,000 square meters. Around 200 plant species from all over the world grow here, including rare specimens found only in Turkey. Besides the flora, the landscape is decorated with ornamental ponds and small fountains, creating the atmosphere of a real tropical forest. For visitors, this is not just a walk, but a full immersion into the fragile and beautiful world of nature.
In addition to admiring the beauty, the garden offers an educational program. Here, you can learn many interesting facts about the life cycle of butterflies, from pupa to adult, making the visit exciting for both adults and children. This is a place where you can not only take vibrant photos but also get a little closer to the fascinating world of insects.
