Abraham's Cave (Mevlid-i Halil) is one of the most significant religious and historical shrines, drawing pilgrims from all over the world to the city of Şanlıurfa. This sacred site in Turkey is considered the birthplace of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), revered in Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.

The cave is a small rock hollow, transformed into a spiritual center and integrated into the architectural ensemble of the Mevlid-i Halil Mosque. According to ancient legends, Abraham's mother hid him here for seven years to save him from the wrath of King Nimrod. Today, it is a place of power where the natural simplicity of the grotto meets the elegance of Ottoman architecture.
A spring flows inside the cave, the water of which many believers consider healing. The entire complex is imbued with an atmosphere of reverence and silence, offering visitors a chance to escape the hustle and bustle and touch the origins of monotheistic traditions. The site is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous carp lake, forming a single cultural and religious route.
