In summer, especially from June to September, when average temperatures often exceed 25-28°C and rainfall is virtually non-existent (especially in July and August), your suitcase should be filled with light, breathable clothing. Cotton and linen items, shorts, sundresses, and t-shirts are ideal. Don't forget several swimsuits, a hat to protect against the scorching sun, sunglasses, and high-quality sunscreen with a high SPF. For walks through ancient ruins and along the promenade, choose comfortable sandals or light open-toed shoes.

Winter months in Side, from December to February, are characterized by cooler weather: average temperatures range from 8.9°C in January to 9.9°C in February, and it’s the wettest period of the year with 10–15 rainy days per month. At this time, you'll need warm clothes: sweaters, fleece hoodies, and thick trousers or jeans. Be sure to bring a mid-season jacket, preferably waterproof and windproof, as well as an umbrella or raincoat. Closed, waterproof, and comfortable shoes will come in very handy. Layering your clothes will help you easily adapt to temperature changes throughout the day, as even in winter, daytime highs can reach 12-14°C.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) in Side are pleasant transitional seasons with comfortable temperatures but some unpredictability.
