The Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ho Chi Minh City, officially known as the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, is one of the city's most recognizable and photographed landmarks. Located in the heart of the metropolis on Paris Commune Square, this majestic church is a striking example of European architecture in Southeast Asia. It serves not only as the city's primary Catholic center but also as a popular destination for both tourists and locals.

The cathedral was erected in the late 19th century and is an outstanding example of the Neo-Romanesque style with Gothic elements, inspired by its famous namesake in Paris. One of the building's most notable features is its walls, built from red bricks that were specially imported from Marseille, France. Thanks to the high quality of the material, the bricks retain their rich, bright color to this day and do not grow moss, despite the humid climate.
Two monumental bell towers reaching nearly 58 meters dominate the surrounding space, while the cathedral's total height is 60.5 meters. This makes it one of the most impressive structures in the historic center of Ho Chi Minh City. As an architectural gem and the largest Catholic cathedral in Vietnam and Asia, Notre-Dame de Saigon attracts visitors with its peaceful and majestic atmosphere.
