Imagine coming face-to-face with three-meter-tall fairy-tale characters and historical figures—this is exactly the kind of experience the Museum of Giant Dolls (Museu de Bonecos Gigantes) offers. This unique cultural space in the city of Caldas Novas was founded in 2012 and has since become one of the most original attractions Brazil has to offer.

The exhibition features 29 monumental dolls, each standing over three meters tall. Every figure is the result of painstaking manual labor by the artist Rosângela. Modern lightweight materials, such as styrofoam, fiberglass, and resin, were used to create them, allowing for incredible detail and expressive faces.
Characters for every taste can be found here: from religious figures (such as Our Lady of La Salette) to Hollywood movie heroes like The Mask or Elsa from Frozen. The museum combines the functions of an exhibition hall and a cultural guesthouse (pousada), where guests can fully immerse themselves in an atmosphere of creativity and Brazilian hospitality.
