The Aiguille du Midi cable car is one of the most famous and breathtaking attractions not only in the town of Chamonix but in all of France. This unique Alpine lift is considered one of the most impressive in the world, as it transports visitors to a dizzying height of 3,842 meters, nearly to the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc. The trip from the center of Chamonix takes only about 20 minutes, but the impressions from it last a lifetime.

The journey to the top consists of two parts. The first section takes you to the Plan de l'Aiguille intermediate station, located at an altitude of 2,317 meters, where you can already enjoy beautiful views and take a break. From here begins the second, even more exciting part of the journey: the cabin glides over the Les Pèlerins glacier and soars up the sheer north face of the Aiguille du Midi peak, revealing truly unforgettable landscapes.
A whole complex of observation decks awaits you at the summit. Panoramic terraces offer incredible views of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. For the boldest, there is a special elevator that takes you to the highest point, providing a 360-degree panorama, as well as the famous "Step into the Void" attraction—a fully glass room suspended over a precipice. This is a place where you can feel like you're on top of the world and take stunning photographs.
