Orangerie Park (Parc de l'Orangerie) is the oldest and one of the largest parks in Strasbourg, a true green oasis in the heart of France. Spanning 26 hectares, it offers guests and residents of the city an ideal place to relax, walk, and enjoy nature not far from the famous European Quarter.

The park is designed in a classic French style: it is crisscrossed by geometrically precise paths lined with centuries-old trees. It got its name, "Orangerie," thanks to the greenhouses that were created in the image of the gardens of Versailles. Although few of the original orange trees survive today, the historical atmosphere and charm of the place are felt everywhere here.
The park's location gives it special significance. It is situated directly opposite the Palace of Europe and other important European institutions, making Orangerie not just a picturesque spot but also a symbolic space reflecting the spirit of European unity. In addition to the well-kept alleys, you can find wilder, natural English-style corners here, as well as a scenic lake with a waterfall.
Orangerie Park is a favorite recreation spot for both tourists and locals. Here you can have a picnic, take a boat out on the lake, or simply enjoy the peace away from the city bustle. It is a wonderful place for a leisurely walk at any time of year, allowing you to touch history and relax your soul.
