In the heart of Fulda lies a wonderful place where science meets play — the Kinder-Akademie Fulda (Children's Academy of Fulda). This unique space was the first independent children's museum in Germany. Located in a former industrial building covering 2,000 square meters, the academy invites young visitors and their parents to dive into the worlds of art, technology, and natural sciences through hands-on interaction with the exhibits.

The main "star" and symbol of the museum is the walk-through heart (Begehbares Herz). This is a giant 5-meter-high model of the human organ that you can literally take a walk through. This interactive journey allows children to understand how our health and circulatory system work in a visual and emotional way, turning a complex biology lesson into a thrilling adventure.
\n\nGeared toward children and teenagers aged 6 to 14, the academy encourages curiosity and the desire to experiment. There are no boring glass cases with "do not touch" signs; on the contrary, every corner of this Werkraum-Museum is designed to be explored, touched, and tested in action.
