In the heart of the historic part of Riga lies a true oasis of style and elegance — the Fashion Museum. Located in a charming building on Grecinieku Street, this private museum has become one of the most sophisticated attractions that Latvia offers its guests. Opened in 2016 at the initiative of architect Natalya Muzychkina, it invites visitors on a fascinating journey through the decades, exploring the history of costume and accessories.

The museum's exhibition is spread across three halls, each with its own unique atmosphere. On display are not just dresses, but true works of art from different eras, including rare pieces from the collection of the famous fashion historian Alexander Vassiliev. The exhibition space is organized so that guests can feel the spirit of the times through a combination of antique mannequins, interactive displays, and multimedia installations.
A special charm is added by the venue's intimate feel: after viewing the exquisite outfits of the early 20th century, you can head up to the cozy cafe, decorated in 1920s style. Here, amidst books on fashion and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, it’s easy to imagine yourself as a character from the Jazz Age. Thanks to its attention to detail and the high quality of its collections, the museum has rightfully earned the recognition of tourists and high marks from critics.
