In the heart of the city of Šiauliai stands one of the most spectacular modern buildings — the Šiauliai Arena. This multi-functional venue, opened in 2007, has become a true symbol of progress and architectural boldness, appreciated throughout Lithuania. The building is a giant cylinder with a diameter of 100 meters, which immediately catches the eye with its unusual appearance.

The main architectural highlight of the structure is its holographic glass facade. Thanks to the unique properties of the glass, the arena changes its appearance depending on the lighting: on sunny days, it shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow, echoing the city's name, which is historically associated with the word "Sun". The five-story building, about 19 meters high, can accommodate up to 5,700 spectators during sports battles and up to 7,400 people for grand shows.
This is not just a stadium, but a full-fledged cultural and sports center that stands out against the familiar city landscape. Šiauliai Arena is considered the dominant landmark of the district, combining the functions of a venue for world championships, star concert tours, and a place for daily active recreation for citizens.
