1. Clothing and Dress Code: As this is a local island, please respect local Islamic traditions. Outside of designated "bikini beaches," you should wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Light natural fabrics (cotton, linen) are the best choice in the heat.
2. Transport: Moving around the island and neighbouring territories is convenient by taxi, bicycle, or on foot. Be sure to take a ride along the causeway connecting the islands — it is a unique experience.
