"Antarctica: Kingdom of the Penguins" is a unique climate-controlled pavilion located in the famous zoo of Guadalajara. This high-tech space allows visitors, while in sunny Mexico, to be transported to a world of eternal ice and meet the inhabitants of the coldest regions on the planet.
Inside the pavilion, extremely low temperatures are maintained, which are necessary for the polar birds to live comfortably in conditions as close as possible to their natural habitat. This exhibit is the only one in the country where you can see rare Adélie penguins. A complex ecosystem with ice patches and pools has been created here, operating non-stop thanks to a modern cooling system.
Two varieties of birds live in the "Kingdom": 12 Adélie penguins and charming Gentoo penguins. The well-thought-out design of the enclosures allows guests to watch their funny waddling on the ice and incredibly graceful maneuvers in the water, showcasing the natural behavior of these amazing creatures.
