Two main seasons can be traced throughout the year. Summer, lasting from June to September, is distinguished by high temperatures: the air warms up to 33°C during the day, while average figures hold around 27–29°C. Winter in Loreto is mild and very comfortable, without extreme cold. From December to February, the average temperature is around 17–18°C, creating ideal conditions for long walks and active tourism when there is no exhausting heat.

A notable feature of the local weather is the almost complete absence of precipitation even in those months when the number of "wet days" formally increases (August and September). Even during this period, rains are largely symbolic in nature and do not affect the general level of comfort. Temperature stability and clear skies make Loreto an excellent choice for those seeking sun and warmth.

The climate in Loreto is characterised by significant temperature changes depending on the season, offering travellers diverse conditions for relaxation. The hottest period is traditionally summer: in August, the average temperature reaches its peak around 29.0°C, and daily maximums consistently exceed 33°C. July and June are also distinguished by heat, with the air warming up to 32-33°C. This time of year suits those who tolerate heat well and plan to spend most of their time by the water.

Winter months, conversely, bring long-awaited mildness and freshness. The coolest time of the year is considered to be January and February, when average figures drop to 17.2°C – 17.5°C. During the day in this period, it is usually comfortable and sunny (around 22°C), but nights become noticeably cooler, with temperatures falling to 12.5°C. Such weather is ideal for active tourism, hiking, and exploring sights without the risk of overheating.

A characteristic trait of the local climate is the tangible daily temperature fluctuations observed almost all year round. The difference between the day's heat and the night's cool is often 10-11 degrees. For example, in April or June, a hot day is followed by a pleasantly refreshing evening. Travellers are advised to consider this feature when packing luggage, taking both light summer clothes and items with long sleeves for comfortable evening strolls.

Loreto is distinguished by a pronounced desert climate, so precipitation here is an extremely rare and insignificant phenomenon. For the greater part of the year, the weather remains dry and sunny, making this resort an excellent choice for lovers of clear skies. There is no snow in this region, as even in the winter months, the air temperature remains comfortable and does not drop to critical levels.

The driest and most stable period lasts practically the entire year, with the exception of late summer. From January to July, as well as from October to December, rainfall levels are virtually zero. In these months, the probability of getting caught in the rain is minimal: statistics record no more than 1–2 "wet" days per month, and in spring, for example in April, there may be no rain at all.

The nominal "rainy season" falls in August and September, however, it bears little resemblance to tropical downpours. During this period, the number of days with precipitation increases to 5–6 per month, but their intensity remains very low (only 1–2 mm). As a rule, these are short-lived and light rains that end quickly and bring only pleasant freshness on hot days, without interfering with beach holidays and excursions.

Since Loreto is located in a desert climate zone on the coast, the main priority when packing should be reliable sun protection. Regardless of the time of year, the sun here is very active, so be sure to put high SPF cream, quality sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat in your suitcase. The basis of your wardrobe should be light, loose clothing made from natural breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen, which will ensure comfort even during the hot midday hours.

When planning a trip, it is important to consider seasonal temperature fluctuations and use the principle of layering. In winter and early spring (from December to March), days are warm, but nights can be quite cool, with temperatures around +12°C. For evening walks, you will definitely need jeans, closed shoes, and a warm sweater or light jacket. In summer, when the daytime heat reaches +33°C, the focus should be on shorts, tank tops, and swimwear.

As for precipitation, rains in this region are a great rarity, although short wet periods are possible at the end of summer (August-September). You are unlikely to need an umbrella, but comfortable shoes for walking—sneakers or trekking sandals—will be indispensable for excursions across rocky terrain. It is also worth noting that it can often be windy on the coast, so a light windbreaker will be useful not only for protection against the evening chill but also during boat trips at sea.
