Today, Galeria EMKA covers an impressive area of 22,000 m². It harmoniously combines retail space, relaxation areas, and entertainment venues, creating a comfortable atmosphere for family leisure.

One of the key features of the property is its convenient location at the intersection of major city arteries and the presence of a spacious surface parking lot for 550 cars. This makes it an accessible and convenient hub for those looking for quality shopping and diverse leisure in one place.

What to Do

For shopping enthusiasts, there are about 70 retail outlets offering a wide range of goods. You can update your wardrobe at popular clothing stores such as the two-level H&M, Carry, Sinsay, or Half Price. Quality footwear is easy to find at CCC and Deichmann, while home goods and sportswear are featured at Jysk, Pepco, and Martes Sport. The main grocery anchor of the complex is the Stokrotka supermarket.

Beyond shopping, the complex offers excellent opportunities for relaxation and self-care. You can enjoy a screening at the modern Helios multi-screen cinema or have an intense workout at the Just Gym fitness club. This turns a visit into a full-scale leisure experience that goes beyond simple shopping.

If you get hungry, a cozy food court area is at your service. Here, the whole family can enjoy a snack, a cup of coffee, or a full meal, choosing dishes to suit any taste. The gallery positions itself as a friendly space where it is equally comfortable to spend time with friends or children.

Getting There

Finding this popular shopping destination is quite easy: it is located at 20 Jana Pawła II Street. Its prime location close to the busy Władysława IV Street makes it easily accessible for both pedestrians and drivers.

For those who prefer private transport, there is a spacious surface parking lot. Since the shopping center is located in a well-developed part of the city, you can get here by city public transport — bus stops are within walking distance, and a taxi ride from the central part of the city takes only a few minutes.

The city itself, located in the northwestern part of the country, is conveniently situated just 5 km from the Baltic Sea coast. This makes a visit to the shopping center a convenient addition to a walk by the sea or an excursion around the province.

History & Facts

This commercial property began its history in 2002, becoming a pioneer in modern shopping for the region's residents. At the time, it was the very first shopping center to open in Koszalin, which immediately made it a major point on the city map.

Over the years, the complex has undergone major transformations. In 2016–2017, a capital modernization of the ground floor was carried out, during which the interior was completely renewed and the infrastructure improved. The grand opening of the renovated space took place in May 2017, offering visitors a more modern service format.

The development of the facility continued in the following years. In March 2023, a new phase of the project was launched, significantly expanding the retail space. Notably, when planning the expansion, the owners focused not only on commerce but also on modern environmental responsibility standards, conducting a climate risk analysis in accordance with international TCFD recommendations.

Time Needed

When planning your visit to this shopping complex, you should consider the purpose of your trip. If you only need to drop by the supermarket or make a couple of specific purchases, then 40–60 minutes might be enough.

However, considering the area of 22,000 m², the presence of dozens of famous brand stores, a food court, and a modern cinema, most visitors spend much more time here. For a leisurely shopping trip with a coffee or lunch break, as well as a visit to the fitness club or a movie session, it is recommended to set aside 2 to 4 hours. This is plenty of time to explore all the complex has to offer without any rush.

Working Hours

The shopping center follows a steady schedule throughout the week, except for Sundays. From Monday to Saturday, the complex is open to visitors from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

It is important to remember that, according to legislation, the shopping center is closed on Sundays. Keep this in mind when planning your visit to ensure you have time to make all your necessary purchases and visit the cinema or fitness club during working hours.
