What to Do

The main focus at Pyrland is on conquering suspended routes. You can choose from four tracks: the most challenging, the black one, will test your endurance and strength across 17 obstacles. For teenagers and active adults, there is the yellow route, while beginners can start with the green one, which is perfect for a first introduction to heights.

The real highlight of the park is the two high-speed zip lines, each 70 meters long. On these descents, you can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h while flying at heights of up to 17 meters and enjoying the panoramic view of the park. Children aged 3 to 11 will find their calling on a special kids' course protected by nets, where they can practice coordination in complete safety.

After actively navigating the obstacles, it's worth staying in the park to relax on the ground. Excellent picnic and barbecue areas are equipped here. This makes the place ideal for celebrations or simply a relaxed end to the day by the fire in the company of friends and family.

Getting There

The attraction is located on the eastern shore of Lake Malta at Baraniaka, 61-131 Poznań. The easiest way to get here from the city center is by public transport: take trams or buses to stops in the area of Malta Ski or the Galeria Malta shopping center. From there, you can reach the park in 15–20 minutes along well-maintained paths along the shore.

For those who prefer active travel, a bicycle is a great option. The ride from the city center will take about 10–15 minutes along picturesque bike paths. If you use a taxi, the trip will be fast and comfortable, and the driver will be able to drop you off as close as possible to the park's forest area.

If you are traveling by car, there are parking areas near the lake; however, keep in mind that they fill up quickly on weekends and sunny days. In this case, it is recommended to park your car a bit further away and enjoy a short walk through the park area surrounding the lake.

History & Facts

The history of this place is inextricably linked to the enthusiasm of local climbing enthusiasts. The creators of the park sought to transform a part of the forest near Lake Malta into a space where the passion for heights and adventure would be accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level. Over time, the site became an integral part of Poznań's sporting landscape.

Since its opening in 2014, the park has constantly evolved, adding new elements and improving safety systems. The main goal of the team was to create an eco-friendly space: all structures and platforms are installed so as not to damage the trees, allowing guests to enjoy nature in its pristine form.

Interestingly, Pyrland Park quickly outgrew its status as just a sports facility, becoming a popular venue for family traditions and team-building events. Today, it is not just a set of obstacles, but a significant point on the city's tourist map, combining active recreation with a respectful attitude towards the environment.

Time Needed

For a full visit to the rope park, it is recommended to set aside **1.5 to 3 hours**. This time is enough for the introductory safety briefing, gear fitting, and completing one or two routes. If you plan to test yourself on the most difficult one — the *black route* — you should budget at least an hour for it.

Visitors with small children may need more time, as the kids' course allows for an unlimited number of attempts. Also, don't forget to add an extra half hour for relaxation in the cozy picnic area to recover and share impressions after finishing the routes.

Working Hours

Pyrland Park is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. It is important to remember that the facility is seasonal and usually welcomes visitors from April to October, when the weather is conducive to safe outdoor recreation.

The current schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, so it is recommended to check the official website before traveling in rainy or windy weather. Plan your time to arrive at the park in advance: the last entry to the courses usually closes an hour before the end of the working day.
