Imagine giant steel inhabitants of the past towering over the banks of the Oder. In the city of Szczecin, Poland, you'll find one of the most recognizable and atmospheric spots—Craneosaurs Park. These aren't just technical structures, but three historical port cranes that, thanks to their unusual appearance, have become a true symbol of the region.

These structures earned their affectionate nickname, "Craneosaurs" (Craneosaurs), due to their striking resemblance to dinosaurs. Their long boom "necks" and massive bodies resemble the silhouettes of prehistoric lizards frozen by the water. Today, it’s a popular photo spot and a favorite place for walks.
This site represents a unique blend of industrial heritage and modern urban space. The cranes highlight the city's maritime history, turning the old port into a living open-air museum where the raw aesthetic of metal meets the romance of river embankments.
