The main pride of the complex is its impressive recreation zone. It features Poland's longest body slide at 210 meters, as well as unique attractions such as a "wild river," a water climbing wall, and a massive 15-meter ball that creates artificial waves. For those who prefer sports, there is an eight-lane, 25-meter pool that meets high competition standards.

In addition to water activities, visitors can enjoy the complex's extra amenities: a modern spa center, a gym, squash courts, and a cozy restaurant. CRS Pool is fully adapted for people with limited mobility and young mothers, making it an inclusive space for every resident and guest of the city.

What to Do

Active holiday enthusiasts will certainly not be bored at the CRS Pool. Adrenaline junkies can test themselves on a cascade of slides: from the giant 210-meter "brook" slide to the zigzagging "onion" (bowl) and the semi-open "salamander." Be sure to try and stay afloat in the "wild river" or test your agility on the water climbing wall, located directly over the deep part of the pool.

For those seeking relaxation, the complex offers four hydro-massage pools, two of which are filled with healing saltwater. You can warm up in the spa area with saunas or visit the fitness center. Special attention is given to children: there is a dedicated paddling pool with warm water and an interactive animal-shaped slide, where little ones can play safely under their parents' supervision.

If you are visiting with a large group or your whole family, look out for special rates such as "Family for Five." After an intensive swim in the 25-meter sports pool, it is pleasant to recharge at the local restaurant or browse the sports shop located right inside the center. The facility uses a convenient electronic wristband system, which serves as both your locker key and a payment method for services.

Getting There

The sports complex is located in the Chynów district at Sulechowska 41. Thanks to its convenient location, it is easily accessible from any part of the city. If you are traveling by private car, head towards Sulechów—the center building is clearly visible from the road, and a spacious free parking lot with 600 spaces is provided for guests.

For those who prefer public transport, buses run regularly from the central part of Zielona Góra. You should get off at the Sulechowska/CRS stop, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the water park entrance. Local taxis are also readily available; a trip from the central station will take no more than 10 minutes.

The entire complex is fully adapted for the needs of people with disabilities, making it accessible and convenient for all categories of tourists. Next to the water park is a multi-functional sports hall, so you can also use its massive structure as a landmark.

History & Facts

The journey to creating the Recreation and Sports Center (CRS) was long and challenging. Construction of this massive facility took nearly 15 years. The main delays were caused by heated public debates: the complex required clearing a portion of the forest, which triggered active protests from citizens who valued Zielona Góra's status as one of the greenest cities in Poland.

The grand opening took place in 2010, and since then, the center has become a vital landmark on the region's sporting map. Management of the facility was taken over by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center (MOSiR). The complex was designed not just as a pool, but as a multi-functional space capable of hosting international-level events.

A major highlight of the CRS is the large sports arena with 6,080 seats. Since the 2010/2011 season, it has served as the home court for the famous basketball club Zastal Zielona Góra. In addition to Polish league matches, it hosts major tournaments in handball, volleyball, and futsal, as well as large-scale cultural concerts.

Over the years, the water park has been constantly updated, implementing new water purification systems and expanding its range of services. Even during challenging periods, such as the pandemic, the center found ways to maintain visitor loyalty by extending memberships and preparing new attractions for reopening.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy all the water attractions and relaxation areas, a typical visitor will need between 2 to 4 hours. This is enough time to try out the main slides, swim in the sports pool, and relax in the hot tubs. Note that standard tickets are often designed for 120-minute sessions, with per-minute charges applied for exceeding the limit.

For families with children or those planning to combine the water park with a visit to the spa area, gym, or restaurant, we recommend allocating half a day (about 5 hours). This way, you can test the record-breaking 210-meter slide and recharge in the salt jacuzzis without checking the clock every five minutes.

Working Hours

The complex is open daily, making it easy to fit water activities into any travel schedule. Please note that on weekends, the center opens one hour later than on weekdays.

Opening Hours:

  • Monday — Friday: 06:00 – 21:00
  • Saturday — Sunday: 07:00 – 21:00
The attraction and recreation zone usually starts full operation at 09:00, and during early morning hours, the slides may be launched one by one.
