A trip to São Jorge requires a smart approach to packing your suitcase, as the weather in the Azores is famous for its changeability. A mild oceanic climate reigns here: there is no intense heat or frost, but rain and winds are frequent guests. The main wardrobe rule for any season is the principle of layering.
