The “Heart of Chechnya” Mosque named after Akhmat Kadyrov is one of the most impressive and largest mosques not only in Russia but in all of Europe. Located in the very heart of the city of Grozny, on the picturesque banks of the Sunzha River, it serves as the central element of a large-scale Islamic complex. This complex also includes the Russian Islamic University, administrative buildings, and a beautiful, well-maintained park with fountains and alleys.

The architectural style of the mosque, which opened in 2008, is inspired by the famous Blue Mosque in Istanbul, giving it a majestic and easily recognizable silhouette. The building is striking in its scale: the height of the four minarets reaches 63 meters, and the mosque itself can accommodate more than 10,000 worshippers at once. The central dome of the mosque stands over 20 meters high with a diameter of 16 meters.
The interior decoration of the “Heart of Chechnya” is breathtaking in its luxury and elegance. White marble and granite were used for the finishing, and the walls and ceiling are adorned with intricate paintings created by Turkish masters using the highest purity gold. The floor is covered with magnificent prayer rugs. Special splendor is added by 36 chandeliers made of bronze, gold, and Swarovski crystals, with designs reminiscent of the main holy sites of Islam. The mosque is not only an important religious center but also a significant cultural site, a symbol of the region's revival and unity, attracting both pilgrims and tourists.
