The Kuznetsk Fortress is an outstanding historical, architectural, and military engineering monument of federal significance, located in the city of Novokuznetsk, Russia. Built on the picturesque Voznesenskaya Hill, it is rightfully considered the architectural symbol of the city and one of the most recognizable and interesting tourist sites not only in Kuzbass but in all of Siberia.

This historic citadel covers an area of about 2.5 hectares and is a unique example of Russian fortification architecture from the late 18th to early 19th centuries, the only one of its kind east of the Urals. Visitors can appreciate the strength of the former fortifications, walk along the bastions, and enjoy panoramic views of the city and its surroundings from the fortress walls.
Currently, the museum-reserve of the same name operates on the territory of the Kuznetsk Fortress.
