Across a vast area of about 10,000 square meters, an exotic world of a lost island has been recreated. The interior is decorated with stone grottos, artificial lianas, palm trees, and decorations in the form of a sunken ship. The water park space is cleverly divided into three levels: the first floor is occupied by an active aqua zone with pools and attractions, the second is dedicated to a relaxation area and food court, and the third houses a cozy VIP zone and a modern spa center.

The main feature of the complex is the combination of excitement and relaxation. Here you can experience an adrenaline rush on the sharp turns of high-speed slides or catch the rhythm of the ocean in the wave pool. Thanks to its well-thought-out infrastructure and tropical design, this place is ideal for both lively groups of young people and peaceful family vacations with small children.

What to Do

A rich entertainment program awaits visitors, where everyone will find something to their liking. In the main aqua zone, you can test your mettle by sliding down the extreme "Hydrotube" slide, where speeds reach 40 km/h, or opt for the gentler "Toboggan". Fans of group fun will enjoy family tracks with parallel descents, while the wave pool allows you to feel the power of a real surf without leaving the city.

For those who prefer more leisurely relaxation, the water park offers an extensive spa zone. Here you can warm up in a Finnish sauna or Turkish hammam, visit a unique salt cave, or relax in a jacuzzi under soft jets of water. Special attention should be paid to the "experience shower" and the exotic fish spa, where a massage is performed by tiny Garra Rufa fish. On the second floor, a picturesque "stone lake" awaits guests, where you can enjoy a snack at the food court along its shores.

The youngest guests can enjoy a special children's pool with safe water cannons and fairy-tale themed attractions. The entire territory of the complex is imbued with the spirit of adventure: walks past decorative caves and palm trees create the feeling of a real journey to distant islands, making a holiday here truly memorable.

Getting There

The attraction is located at Pavlovskiy Trakt, 251V/2, occupying a separate annex to the popular Europe shopping and entertainment center. If you are planning a trip by car, head from the city center toward the airport—the bright mall building is clearly visible from the highway. A spacious free parking lot for 300 cars is provided for visitors, equipped with a convenient ramp for people with limited mobility.

Getting there by public transport is also easy: many bus routes and minibuses pass through Barnaul along Pavlovskiy Trakt. You need to get off at the stop near the Europe Mall. From the stop, the entrance to the water complex is just a few minutes' walk; simply follow the signs inside the mall or walk around it from the Malakhov Street side.

The facility is situated in an area with good transport accessibility, near the junction of Pavlovskiy Trakt and Malakhov Street, directly opposite the local zoo. You can also use any city taxi service—the ride from the central part of the city will take about 15–20 minutes depending on traffic.

History & Facts

The history of the complex began with an ambitious project to expand the city's entertainment infrastructure. The construction of Barnaul Water Park was carried out as part of a three-story extension to the Europe Mall. The structural design was handled by the well-known Rost-proyect workshop under the leadership of engineer Sergey Nikolaevich Kovylin, while the general contractor was OAO Altayenergozhilstroy.

The grand opening took place on August 1, 2012. By this time, all finishing work had been completed, complex water ride systems were installed, and the surrounding area was landscaped. The emergence of the 10,000 sq m complex was a landmark event for the region, as it was the city's first full-scale indoor water park, offering world-class recreation year-round.

Since its opening, the management has paid special attention to safety and hygiene. The water quality in the pools is monitored in strict accordance with SanPiN standards, and qualified lifeguard instructors monitor order on the slides. Over the years, the water park has become an integral part of the city's tourism landscape, constantly developing its spa area and expanding its list of wellness treatments.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy all the facilities of the complex, visitors are recommended to allocate 3 to 5 hours for their visit. This is enough time to try out all the extreme slides, swim in the wave pool, and enjoy the relaxing treatments in the spa zone.

If your main goal is active recreation in the aqua zone, then 2–3 hours will be quite sufficient. Families with children planning to visit the kids' town and have lunch at the food court should set aside at least 4 hours. Those who want to combine water rides with full relaxation in the saunas, hammam, and fish spa should aim for a longer stay.

The complex welcomes guests daily, allowing you to plan a visit both on weekdays and weekends. The operating schedule is as follows:
