About

Imagine a place where different decades and even eras meet in a single space. The Gallery of Time Museum Park is a large-scale private complex in the city of Novosibirsk, spanning over two hectares. Here, under the open sky and in pavilions, thousands of artifacts are collected, reflecting the history and culture for which Russia is famous.

The complex brings together five thematic museums, offering visitors a journey from reconstructions of the ancient world to the achievements of Soviet science. The collection features more than 3,500 exhibits, including legendary retro cars, military equipment, and even real aviation giants like the Yak-40 aircraft and the Mi-8 helicopter.

This is not just an exhibition behind glass, but a living interactive space where history becomes tangible. The "Gallery of Time" is equally interesting to tech enthusiasts dreaming of seeing rare "Volgas" and "Pobedas," and families with children who can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the past or explore the world of future technologies.

What to Do

The park's main draw is the retro machinery exhibition, featuring over 30 models of perfectly restored cars and motorcycles. You can examine legends of the Soviet auto industry and rare foreign models in detail, as well as see massive equipment located outdoors.

In the USSR Museum, guests can enjoy a nostalgic dive into the daily life of the 1960s–80s. Iconic spaces of that era have been recreated here: a typical Soviet living room, a school classroom with desks and uniforms, a pioneer hall, and even a realistic police station room. It’s a great opportunity to show the younger generation how their grandparents lived.

The Wax Museum is equally impressive, featuring over 100 realistic exhibits. Historical figures, famous actors, and characters from favorite fantasy universes — from Harry Potter to the characters of "The Lord of the Rings" — stand side-by-side. The collection is complemented by modern holograms and unique handmade dolls, turning the walk into an exciting adventure.

Getting There

The complex is located at 1st Mochishchenskoye Highway, 1/6. The most convenient way to get here from the city center is by car or taxi — the trip will take about 20–30 minutes depending on the traffic situation. For those arriving by private transport, parking is provided on the territory.

If you plan to use public transport, look for routes heading towards Mochishchenskoye Highway. You can take buses or fixed-route taxis from the nearest metro stations (for example, "Zayeltsovskaya"). It is recommended to check current route numbers in mobile maps in advance to get off at the right stop and walk a short distance to the park entrance.

History & Facts

The history of this unusual place began in 2008. The mastermind and founder of the park was Vladimir Borisovich Kurdyumov — an expert in the world of retro machinery and owner of his own restoration workshop. Thanks to his passion for preserving technical heritage, old machines found a second life within the exhibition walls.

The official history of the complex began on September 5, 2020, when the retro machinery exhibition opened to its first visitors. From that moment, the park began to develop rapidly: the USSR Era Museum opened its doors in May 2021, and a concert pavilion began operating in the fall of the same year.

Gradually, the project turned into a full-fledged cultural cluster. Art and interactive platforms, such as the Wax Museum and the "Lost World" project, were added to the technical exhibitions. Today, it is not just a collection of objects, but the result of many years of work by restorers and enthusiast historians.

Time Needed

To leisurely explore all five thematic zones and the outdoor exhibition, guests are recommended to set aside 3–4 hours. The scale of the 2.2-hectare territory and the abundance of small details in the USSR Museum require time for thoughtful immersion.

If you plan to visit the park with children or want to study each car model in the "Gallery of Time" in detail, it’s better to plan a half-day visit. This will allow you to take photos and test interactive exhibits at your own pace without feeling rushed.

Working Hours

The Gallery of Time Museum Park is open to guests daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The complex operates without breaks or days off, allowing you to conveniently plan a visit even on holidays.

Since the operating schedule or visiting conditions for individual exhibitions may change, we recommend checking the official website or the museum's social media for the most up-to-date information before your trip.
