What to Do

The main attraction at KrutoPark is completing the high-altitude rope courses. Visitors can choose from routes that include zip lines for high-speed descents, shaky suspension bridges, and intricate nets. Each obstacle is designed so you can feel the excitement while remaining completely safe under the supervision of qualified instructors.

Special low-level courses are provided for children where toddlers can safely develop their coordination. Adults can test their strength on technically difficult sections that require concentration and physical activity. All necessary safety equipment is provided on-site and undergoes regular inspections, ensuring peace of mind during your adventures.

In addition to the rope challenges, they organize exciting team-building programs and themed parties. A visit can easily be combined with sightseeing in Gorky Park: take a ride on the Ferris Wheel, visit the amusement rides, or simply relax at one of the summer cafes with some ice cream after an active workout at a height.

Getting There

Getting to this adventure spot is easy, as it is located in the central part of the city. If you prefer public transport, choose buses or minibuses heading to the "Gorky Park" or "Petrovskaya Street" stops. The journey from the main railway station will take no more than 15 minutes.

For those traveling by private car, it is most convenient to use GPS coordinates. There are parking areas near the park entrances, although they can fill up quickly on weekends. From the very center of the city, a trip by taxi or your own car will take literally 5–10 minutes.

Walking enthusiasts can reach the park via Petrovskaya Street. This is a pleasant route through the historical part of the city, which will take about 20–30 minutes and allow you to get into an active mood before conquering the heights.

History & Facts

Although the rope park itself is a modern facility, its location has a rich history. Maxim Gorky Park was founded back in 1806 as an Apothecary Garden on the initiative of Governor Balthasar Campenhausen. It is the oldest park in the Rostov Region, originally intended for growing medicinal herbs and rare tree species.

In the 19th century, the garden turned into a favorite place for public festivities, and in 1874, hot air balloon flights were even organized here, which was an incredible sight for that time. Over the decades, the area was improved: rotundas, concert halls, and picturesque alleys appeared, where famous residents and guests of the city would stroll.

This location received the status of a Park of Culture and Leisure and the name of Maxim Gorky in the 1930s. Krutopark has become a natural continuation of active leisure traditions, bringing modern sports entertainment to the historical landscape. Today, it is a wonderful example of how new attractions can harmoniously coexist with centuries-old traditions of park art.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy all the courses and relax without rushing, we recommend setting aside 2 to 4 hours for your visit. Completing one route takes 30 to 60 minutes on average, depending on the visitor's fitness level and the number of people on the line.

If you plan to visit KrutoPark with small children, they usually have enough with about an hour and a half to two hours of active play on specialized courses. Adults who decide to test themselves on difficult high-altitude sections may need more time. Don't forget to also leave an hour for a walk along the shady alleys of Gorky Park itself.

Working Hours

The rope park's doors are typically open to visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is a convenient schedule that allows you to drop by on a weekday evening after work or dedicate an entire weekend day to adventures with the whole family.

Since the facility's operation depends directly on weather conditions (heavy rain or gusty winds may cause temporary closure of the courses), we strongly advise checking for updated information on the official website or contacting the administration by phone before your trip.
