On the very outskirts of the resort town of Anapa, in Russia, lies one of the region's most impressive natural wonders—the Swallow's Nest cliffs. This is not the work of architects, but a unique geological ensemble at the top of Lysaya Gora (Bald Mountain) in the village of Supsekh. Whimsical sandstone and limestone formations, sculpted by wind and sea salt, hang over steep precipices, creating a fantastic landscape.

The main feature of this place is the natural openings in the rock, resembling bird nests or portholes. A natural arch is particularly popular, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the endless Black Sea and the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains. Here, the steppe air mixes with the sea breeze, and the bird's-eye view gives a sense of boundless freedom.
The landmark got its name from the sand martins that have been building their homes here for decades. Today, the "Swallow's Nest" is a popular observation deck with a 4.9 rating, where artists and photographers seek inspiration to capture the rugged yet fragile beauty of the Caucasian coast.
